Who it's for
Firewood software for timber merchants.
For yards where offcuts and surplus become bags, nets and bulk bags of firewood. LogRun runs that side beside the timber system you already use. It doesn't replace it.
The corner of the yard that sells by the bag.
Every sawmill and timber yard ends up with a pile of offcuts, and at some point somebody bagged them. Firewood software for timber merchants is for what happens next: the bags sell, then the nets, then the bulk bags.
The timber trade has its own systems, built for boards, lengths, grades and trade accounts. Firewood doesn't fit them, so it often ends up on a clipboard by the saw.
The clipboard, and the list that replaces it.
Firewood on a clipboard
- Household orders on one page, trade orders on another.
- Trade prices remembered by whoever is on the desk.
- Deliveries sorted when the wagon is due out.
Firewood in LogRun
- Every order in one pool, household and trade together.
- Price groups for trade customers, set once.
- Runs made by area, with a load sheet and a run sheet.
Your timber system carries on with the boards. LogRun takes the firewood.
Every firewood order, grouped by where it's going.
The pool is where sawmill firewood sales stop being a pile of notes.

Area buttons
A row of buttons shows how many orders and bags wait in each postcode area.
Flags and badges
A Paid badge shows who has paid. A flag like Not Mon/Tue shows days a customer can't take.
No area yet
A new postcode sits in its own group until you say which area it belongs in.
What the firewood side needs from a system.
Bags, nets and bulk bags
Each is a product with its own price and count. Timber merchant firewood delivery starts with knowing what is on the pallet.
Price groups
Trade customers can sit in a price group, so the right prices appear without anyone remembering them.
Account customers
Invoices come out as PDFs with their own numbers, and can be emailed. Your accounts stay in your accounts package.
Not a timber trade system.
LogRun has no tally, no grades and no lengths, and it doesn't replace a timber trade system. It runs beside one.
Boards, joinery stock and trade accounts for timber stay where they are. Only the firewood products go into LogRun.
Questions people ask.
Can LogRun replace the system we use for timber?
No, and it isn't trying to. It has no tally, grades or lengths. It handles the firewood side, and your timber system keeps handling timber.
Can trade customers get their own prices?
Yes. Customers can be placed in a special price group, such as wholesale, and orders for them use that group's prices.
Do household and trade orders go on the same run?
Yes. They share one pool, grouped by area, so a builder's bags and a householder's nets can ride in the same wagon.
Do I have to move my timber stock into it?
No. Only the firewood products need to be in LogRun. The rest of the yard stays in whatever you use now.
Can I print paperwork for the yard and the driver?
Yes. LogRun prints a load sheet for the yard and a run sheet for the driver, plus a delivery note for a single stop. All are A4 and black and white.
