Firewood delivery software, built for log yards.

LogRun takes every order, from your shop, the phone and the pile of texts, puts it in one list, turns it into delivery runs and prints the sheet your driver takes. Made for UK log and firewood merchants.

Round the back

What the office sees.

Plain screens, big buttons, nothing to hunt for. The yard, the customers and the orders here are invented, so nobody's name is on show.

The Pool screen, with orders grouped by delivery area, each showing the postcode, what was ordered and whether it is paid.
The pool: every order, grouped by area, whichever way it arrived. An invented yard and invented customers.
A draft delivery run with three stops in order, totals for bulk bags, small items, drops and cash to collect, and a button to book the run and email customers.
A run: stops in order, totals at the top, one button to tell the customers. An invented yard and invented customers.

Getting started is a conversation.

  1. We talk about your yard.

How orders reach you, how you plan a round, what you sell and where you deliver.

  2. We set it up around you.

Your products, your delivery areas, your branding and your own web address for the shop. Each yard gets its own set-up.

  3. You start on real orders.

We bring your customers and their order history across from your spreadsheet, shop or old system, so you pick up where you left off.

What LogRun isn't.

It isn't an accounting package. It makes invoices and takes the payments, and your accounts stay where they are.

It isn't a route optimiser. Runs are built by area and postcode, put in order by you, and your driver keeps their usual sat nav for the last mile. If you want a driver's route planner or text messages to customers, we can add those for your yard.

And it isn't a place where customers choose their own delivery slot. They tell you which days they can't do, you book the day, and they get an email.

Questions people ask.

What is LogRun, in one sentence?

It's the ordering and delivery software a log yard runs on: an online shop, one list for every order, delivery runs, printed sheets for the driver and the yard, customer records and stock.

Do my customers have to download an app?

No. Customers order from a web page on your own web address, on a phone or a computer, and pay on a card payment page.

Can my drivers use it on their phones?

Drivers get a printed run sheet, in black and white, with a block for each stop. We can add a route planner for drivers for a yard that wants one, but it isn't part of the standard set-up.

Is it only for big yards?

No. It's meant for yards from one wagon and a notebook up to a few vans and an office. A small yard can start with the order list and the run sheet and add the rest later.

How much does it cost?

We don't publish a price list, because yards differ. We'll talk through yours and give you a written quote. How a quote works.

Can I move over from the shop or system I use now?

Yes. Our set-up can include migrating your customers, past orders and notes from WooCommerce, Shopify, Cloud Commerce, a spreadsheet or whatever you use, wherever it can be exported. How moving works.

Who makes LogRun?

LogRun is made by With Gumption, a small Yorkshire team that builds ordering and delivery systems for small businesses. It's being built around a working log yard in Yorkshire.
