Frontend and websites
A log yard website, built alongside your shop.
A new website that looks like your yard, loads quickly on a phone and takes every visitor straight to your shop. We build it at the same time as LogRun, so the two feel like one place.
Your website and your shop, made together.
A log yard website has two jobs. It tells people who you are, what you sell and where you deliver, and it gets them to the order button fast. Build your website alongside LogRun and both jobs are planned together from the start.
Ordering always runs through your LogRun shop, whatever website sits in front of it. A new website gives that shop extra lift: a fresh front door, one look from the first page to the checkout, and pages written to be found.
It's the best way to get the most from the system. Customers arrive, see your logs, check you deliver to them and order, and it all feels like one place.
What goes into a log yard website.
Every yard is different, so we plan the pages with you. These are the ones most yards want.
A front page that sells
Your logs, your yard and a big order button, with the products people ask for most right at the top.
Your logs, explained
What you sell, how it's seasoned or dried, and the sizes it comes in, in your own words.
The places you deliver to
The towns and villages you cover, written so people searching for logs near them find you.
How delivery works
When you deliver, what to expect on the day and how to order, so the phone rings with orders.
About the yard
Who you are and how long you've been at it. People like buying logs from people.
The shop your website leads to.
Every order button on the website opens your LogRun shop, on your own web address and in the same look.

All on one page
Bulk bags, nets, kindling and coal side by side, each with an Add button.
Delivery checked first
The postcode box tells customers you cover them before they reach the checkout.
The kindling nudge
Logs in the basket? The shop offers kindling and firelighters with a single tap.
Straight to the pool
Checkout hands over to a secure card payment page, and the order lands with your office.
How a new website comes together.
We talk about your yard.
What you sell, where you deliver, how you'd like it to look and what customers ask you most.
We build the website and the shop as a pair.
Same colours, same products, same prices, so the two match from the front page to the checkout.
Your customers come across.
Customers, past orders and notes move over from your current shop or spreadsheet, wherever they can be exported.
You launch both at once.
One launch, one address to share, and every order arriving in one list.
Built to be found.
Most people find a log yard by searching for logs near them, often on a phone, often the first cold evening of the year. A fast website with clear pages about what you sell and where you deliver gives search engines plenty to work with.
We write the pages with that in mind: plain headings, the towns you cover, quick loading and tidy structure underneath. Search results take time and care, and a website built this way gives your yard a strong head start.
An example (invented, not a real yard)
A yard that refreshes its website with LogRun.
Picture a yard selling kiln-dried ash and birch across a handful of postcode districts. Its website has done a steady job for years, and orders arrive by phone and email.
When LogRun goes in, the new website goes live alongside it. The front page shows this season's logs and a big order button. Each area the yard covers has a short page of its own, and every button leads to the shop, where the postcode check confirms delivery before anyone pays.
By the first cold weekend, regulars are ordering the same again from their accounts, new customers can find the yard when they search for logs in their village, and every order is waiting in the pool on Monday morning.
Questions people ask.
Do I need a new website to use LogRun?
Not at all. LogRun works happily with the website you have now: your site links to your shop, and orders land in the pool. A new website is there for yards that want everything fresh at the same time.
Does ordering happen on the website or in LogRun?
In LogRun, always. The website's order buttons open your LogRun shop on your own web address, so every order goes straight into the pool with the postcode checked and the card payment made.
Can the website look like my yard?
Yes. The website and the shop share your colours, your photos and your wording, laid out the way you want, so customers feel they're in one place from the front page to the checkout.
Will a new website help me get found on Google?
It gives you a strong start. Fast pages, clear headings and pages about the places you deliver to are what search engines look for. Being found also builds over time, and we'll talk you through what else helps.
Can my old shop's customers come across?
Yes, as part of the set-up. Customers, past orders and notes can come across from WooCommerce, Shopify, Cloud Commerce, a spreadsheet or another system, wherever they can be exported, so regulars find their history waiting.
How is a website priced?
It goes in the same written quote as LogRun, shaped by how many pages you'd like and what's coming across from your current site. Book a call and we'll talk it through.
