Frontend and websites
Add online ordering to your website, and keep the one you have.
Happy with your website? Keep it. Your LogRun shop runs on a web address of your own, your site links to it, and every order lands in one list for the office.
Your website stays, and the ordering moves in.
You can add online ordering to your website without rebuilding a thing. Your website carries on doing what it does well: telling people about the yard. Ordering happens in your LogRun shop, which sits on a web address of your own, such as order.yourdomain.co.uk.
Add an order button and a menu link, and customers step from your website into your shop. The shop wears your look, lists your products at your prices, and sends every order straight to the office.
It works whoever built your site and whatever it runs on, because all your website needs is a link.
Three steps to taking orders online.
We set up your shop.
Your products, prices, delivery areas and look, on a web address of your own.
Your website gets an order button.
A button on the front page and a link in the menu. Whoever looks after your site adds them, and we send the address and the wording.
Orders arrive in one list.
Shop orders sit beside phone orders in the pool, grouped by area and ready to become a run.
What your customers get.
The shop handles the careful parts of ordering, so your website can stay just as it is.
Your whole range at a glance
Bulk bags, nets, kindling and coal together, each with a quantity and an Add button.
A postcode check first
Customers see that you cover them before they pay. Anyone further afield gets a friendly enquiry form.
Quick card payment
Checkout passes to a secure card payment page, and the customer's confirmation arrives by email.
Sign in without a password
Regulars get a sign-in link by email, see their past orders and order the same again.
Vouchers and offers
Gift vouchers to buy and spend, plus codes and offers you set yourself.
What customers see when they click order.
Your order button opens this: the shop on its own web address, in your colours.

Keep your website, or start fresh?
Both work well. It comes down to how you feel about the site you have.
Keep your website
- Your site stays exactly as it is
- An order button links to your shop
- Nothing to rewrite or move
- Ideal if your site is recent and you like it
A new website with LogRun
- Website and shop built together, in one look
- Pages written to be found in search
- Quick on a phone and easy to order from
- Built without PHP, so more secure
- Ideal if your site is due a refresh
The websites we build run without PHP, so there's far less for anyone to attack. That keeps them secure, and gives your customers peace of mind every time they visit and order.
Either way the ordering is the same, because your LogRun shop takes every order. You can start with the website you have and move to a new one whenever suits.
Already selling online?
If your website already has a shop on it, through WooCommerce, Shopify or something else, the set-up can bring your customers, their past orders and their notes across, wherever they can be exported. Regulars find their history waiting in the new shop.
From then on your website's order links point to LogRun, and every order, from the shop or the phone, arrives in one place.
Questions people ask.
Will my website carry on as it is now?
Yes. The only change to your current site is the order button and menu link that lead to your shop.
Where does the shop live?
On its own web address, usually part of your own domain such as order.yourdomain.co.uk, and in your look. Customers move from your website to the shop with one click, and it feels like one place.
Who adds the order button to my website?
Whoever looks after your website, or you, if you edit it yourself. It's an ordinary link, and we'll send the address and some wording for the button.
Do phone orders and shop orders end up in the same place?
Yes. Both land in the pool, grouped by delivery area, so the office builds runs from one list.
Can I move to a new website later?
Yes. Your shop stays where it is, so a new website simply links to it. If you'd like us to build that website, we'd be glad to, and it goes in a written quote.
